Landau Building Company was the construction manager for the Carnegie Mellon University Warner Hall Interior Renovations. The Office of Undergraduate Admission, The HUB, Enrollment Services, and most of the administrative offices for CMU reside in Warner Hall. The scope of work, which was completed in less than eight months, included 42,011 SF of major renovations to all six stories and the basement. The main lobby area was upgraded. New architectural finishes and floor plan layouts were applied to floors 3 through 6, while two of the floors remained occupied. Each floor received a new sprinkler system, and a new perimeter 4-pipe fan coil system with independent controls was installed including in the occupied spaces. In addition, the existing hydronic piping system, including risers, pumps, and equipment, were fully upgraded. The restrooms on all levels were updated to meet ADA compliance.
