Marks Landau Construction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Landau Building Company, served as the design-builder for a new 30,000 SF single tenant office building for Leidos an American defense, intelligence, information technology and health company that provides technology and IT services. The building was designed for flexibility and to maintain an affordable rent by using cost-effective construction materials and methods such as a pre-engineered metal building shell with architectural enhancements. To fast track the project, site work began before the final GMP contract was awarded and was substantially complete in 11 months just as the schedule reflected.
