Landau Building Company completed the fit-out for Visionworks at the Waterworks Mall on Freeport Road in Pittsburgh, PA. The new retail space is adjacent to the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Outpatient Clinic, previously completed by Landau, and is an affiliated business. Landau was contracted to complete Visionworks after the AHN clinic was finished. When the AHN space was being constructed, the 2,348 SF Visionworks space was roughly fit-out until they were ready to begin construction. The retail space includes a front lobby with display cases, reception desk, and areas for trying on glasses, all with standard Visionworks finishes. Also included are exam rooms, testing equipment, contact lens room, staff break room, restrooms, manager’s office, electrical room, and storage room. The team was careful to block construction areas/access from pedestrian shoppers and followed all mall regulations, such as delivery times and areas. The project was completed in three months.
