Landau Building Company served as the general contractor for West Virginia University Medicine’s Cancer Center Phase II Fit-Out at Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center located in Morgantown, West Virginia. This center is one of several facilities that make up the WVU Cancer Institute.Existing interior spaces on both the ground floor and first floor were demolished then transformed into the new cancer center in less than 8 months. The scope of work on the ground floor was 10,170 SF and 15,000 SF on the first floor. New Infusion bays, Aphesis rooms, nurses’ stations, waiting rooms and a pharmacy that includes chemo prep areas were created. Construction took place during normal working hours of the busy facility.
